To celebrate the recent launch of my Whiskey Tasting – Quick thoughts on this site, I am delighted to announce a competition for a bottle of the fabulous limited edition:-

Walsh Whiskey Writers Tears Deau XO Cognac Finish( Single Cask whiskey).

This particular premium release has been very carefully crafted with the already excellent triple distilled single malt and Single pot still whiskey being finished for 9 months in French oak casks that had been seasoned for between 12 and 15 years with Deau XO cognac. It has been released at 46% ABV.  This whiskey has received great praise since it has been released in the last month. There are only 12 casks and given the reaction to it, it will not be around for long!

I am personally providing this particular bottle of whiskey for this competition. Please note the featured photo is a library photo (prize bottle number will differ)

Following terms and conditions relate to Twitter competition that is currently running for single bottle of Walsh Whiskey Writers Tears Deau XO Cognac Finish.

This competition is being promoted by whiskeytalk2u and the bottle is personally provided by whiskeytalk2U

There is no entry fee for the competition.

Method of entering are specified above and  in tweet posted by Whiskeytalk2u on Sunday the 24th of February 2019.

This competition is only open to those aged over 18 yrs of age. By entering the entrant is automatically confirming that they are over 18.

The Competition ends on Monday the 4th of March 2019 at 23:30

The prize for the competition is as described in this post. No alternative will be available.

A winner will be chosen at random using independent selector with no connection to the promotor of this competition. Will also be independently witnessed.

The winner will be notified of their win by public tweet after Wednesday the 6th of March 2019

PlEASE NOTE : For non Republic of Ireland entrants, should they be the winner, the responsibility for arranging collection from Whiskeytalk2U  and delivery to their location will be the winner’s responsibility and at the winner’s cost.

If the winner is based in the  Republic of Ireland  whiskeytalk2u will arrange delivery directly with the winner. By entering the ROI entrant is agreeing to supply a workable delivery  address for receiving the prize by post should they be the winner. The ROI entrant also agrees to send their address by DM or Email to whiskeytalk2u.

The prize will be send as soon as possible following winner selection.
