Irish Distillers, makers of the world’s most well-known and successful Irish whiskeys, has announced that the limited-edition Redbreast Dream Cask Pedro Ximénez Edition, released to mark World Whisky Day 2019, has sold out in 14 minutes. Launched exclusively through the Redbreast Birdhouse at 3.00pm on 27thMay, all 924 bottles of Redbreast Dream Cask Pedro Ximénez Edition were sold by 3:14pm – at a rate of over 65 bottles per minute.
The Birdhouse is the Redbreast online members’ club and gives Irish whiskey fans exclusive access to limited edition releases, information on the Redbreast family, interviews from the Midleton Masters and bespoke Redbreast gifts. Redbreast Dream Cask Pedro Ximénez Edition is the second in a series of limited-edition Redbreast Irish whiskeys planned for the coming years, which will be sold exclusively through The Birdhouse
