Bow St. takes home prestigious award at ‘Oscars of the travel industry’
Dublin, 29 November 2019: Irish Distillers, producer of some of the world’s best known and successful Irish whiskeys, today announced that Jameson Distillery Bow St. has been named the World’s Leading Distillery Tour at the World Travel Awards (WTA) for the second year in a row. The awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence in global travel and tourism. The finalist list included Macallan, Hennessy, Jack Daniels and Jose Cuervo.

The 26th World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2019 took place at the Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman, with the leading decision-makers, figureheads and influencers of travel in attendance. The evening marked the climax of the WTA Grand Tour 2019 – an annual search for the finest travel and tourism organisations in the world, featuring the winners of WTA’s six regional ceremonies going head-to-head for the coveted world titles.
