Celebrations include the unveiling of the new Lego Teeling Distillery model
Teeling Distillery, thefirst new Distillery in over 125 years in Dublin, kickstarted the revival of Dublin Distilling when it opened 6 years ago this weekend. Since then it has welcomed over a half a million visitors and weathered a pandemic! To celebrate this birthday, Teeling Distillery has commissioned a scale model by Dublin Bricks, made of 4,173 lego bricks, now on show in the Exhibition Space of their distillery. Tours now operate Thursday & Friday 12pm-6pm, Saturday 11am – 7pm and Sunday 11am – 6pm. The Phoenix Café is open 7 days and is a perfect stop off on any day out in the area.
During the last year of lockdowns, The Teeling Distillery reached over 250,000 people virtually but is now back open for self-guided tours. During the month of June, to mark its re-opening all visitors receive a complimentary celebratory Teddy’s whipped ice-cream which is now being served from its Phoenix Café. For the summer a new outdoor space, the Teeling Terrace, has been created where people can enjoy al fresco a hand crafted Teeling Whiskey cocktail or have the chance to try some of the Teeling Whiskey range they have yet to discover.
