26 January 2022, Sligo, Ireland: To celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, Lough Gill Distillery is delighted to announce a unique online tasting and virtual distillery tour on Thursday February 17th, 2022 at 7.30pm.
For whiskey lovers, a ticket to this premium online tasting event makes for a special gift this February, as this will be the first tasting event to preview Athrú’s next whiskey trilogy, the Odyssey. As this trilogy isn’t due to be released until much later in 2022, this is a real treat for the whiskey curious amongst you.Commenting on the upcoming event, David Raethorne said: “Our first trilogy – The Creation Trilogy included three exceptional Irish single malts, all with unique characteristics. We’re extremely proud of them, and wanted to create something just as distinctive. Enter The Odyssey Trilogy, which we’re offering a special virtual tasting of on February 17th, so you can sample these extraordinary expressions for yourself. During the virtual event, you’ll not only get the chance to sample our proposed whiskeys, you’ll also gain a real insight into how they were created and selected – Head Distiller Ollie Alcorn will join me to unveil the secrets of our newest releases and discuss the stories behind the spirits.”
Tickets for the online event include a tasting pack of three 40ml bottles, featuring samples from the proposed Odyssey Trilogy whiskeys.
