DINGLE DISTILLERY LAUNCHES FIFTH AND FINAL WHISKEY IN SINGLE POT STILL SERIES

Dingle Distillery is proud to present the highly anticipated fifth and final release of its small batch Single Pot Still series – Dingle Single Pot Still 5. Matured fully in Bourbon casks resulting in a rich smooth whiskey, 8,000 bottles (46.5% ABV) of the liquid have been produced with an additional 1,000 Cask Strength bottles (59.5% ABV) also available.

Priced at €90.00 (RRP) per 70cl bottle with the Cask Strength priced at €190.00 (RRP), the new single pot still whiskey is available to purchase now at DingleDistillery.ieIrishMalts.com, Celtic Whiskey Shop and independent off licenses. Dingle is only the second distillery in Ireland to produce a single pot still whiskey.

Dingle will host an intimate tasting event with Master Distiller, Graham Coull for the Single Pot Still 5 at The Palace Bar in Dublin on 13th April 2022. Capacity is limited to 30 people and booking is essential. Tickets can be purchased from Eventbrite with all proceeds going to relief efforts in Ukraine.

We are very proud of this latest launch and can’t wait for whiskey fans to try it.”

Graham Coull, Master Distiller at Dingle Distillery, describes the unique flavour profile of Dingle Single Pot Still 5: “It’s been wonderful to play my part in the distilling process for Dingle Single Pot Still 5. With an all-bourbon maturation, the resulting flavour profile reveals tones of dried raspberries and butter mints followed by white chocolate with a sprinkling of flaked almonds. The chocolate gives way to that returning Dingle spice of soft wood and leather notes which glide you into a long, memorable finish. It really is a must try, even more so as it is the last in the series.”

Dingle whiskey is non-chill filtration and adds no colouring.

The Dingle Single Pot Still Series:

Single Pot Still 1 – An iconic release of the first Dingle single pot still whiskey, matured in Pedro Ximenez casks and released in 2017, with a limited release of just 800 bottles.

Single Pot Still 2 – The second release of the Dingle Single Pot Still launched in 2018, matured in ex-Bourbon, Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry casks with notes of dried figs, candied citrus peel, winter spices and plum pudding. 3,000 bottles were released.

Single Pot Still 3 – The highly anticipated third release of the Dingle Single Pot Still was

matured in a combination of Bourbon and Port casks and had a limited release of 3,400 bottles in 2019.

Single Pot Still 4 – Launched in November 2020 with 8,000 bottles plus an additional 500 Cask Strength bottles for the first time. The Fourth Single Pot Still release from Dingle combined fully matured ex bourbon and ex Oloroso sherry casks allowing the uniqueness of the Pot Still spirit and the quality of the wood to shine through.
